It may help many of us to know what is ahead I love the new 4D Suite software, it is amazing! The one I worked on interfaced with the Parallel Port and worked fine. We all have our preferences and personal history, some good, some bad. I have not used it for some time but now when I try to use it I get a message no dongle attached I have restarted my computer several times and still it will not work. Just keep writing them.

That upgrade takes a while, but the steps provided on Microsoft's site, were easy to follow. I had an all day user class for free on it. But - 4D does seem to be working without any problems. I upgraded to Windows 10 and I am using 4D Embroidery software.
It tried to open but it couldn't read the hasp info. Everything loaded just fine but when I try to open program it does not recognize the dongle. The dealer support is excellent, the staff will troubleshoot over the phone and at the shop.
I was totally new to the embroidery scene and had a bad experience with the Janome I got and was told no software was necessary I've embrojdery tried this myself on lots of machines and had quite a few reports of success from users. Follow the directions for each update. This is being corrected as more people have no choice but to buy Vista as that's what's in the new computers.
